NIGEL'S GUITAR WORKSHOP

The Errington Electric Mandolin

The Errington Electric Mandolin was produced in the mid 1990’s by luthiers Richard Turnock and Mark Wood within the Errington Guitars workshop. They developed the range to include electric mandolas and eventually electro acoustic mandolins and mandolas. About 300 of these instruments were made( if you have one it will be signed, numbered and perhaps dated in the neck cavity or under the scratch plate. A small number of these instruments were sent to Japan and Portugal.
The Herald Electric guitar was produced at this time In small numbers. A semi solid guitar with many custom options, it received a very good review in the May 1996 issue of Guitarist
